St George's Day in Salisbury

DETAILS of this year’s St George’s Day celebrations in Salisbury have been confirmed.
The city council is organising a free family day out in the Market Place and Guildhall Square on Sunday, April 22.
The fun starts at 11am with a small pageant from the Guildhall, followed by a play and welcome from the mayor.
Highlights of the day include fair rides, craft stalls, local produce, cream teas and guided tours.
Claire Burden, the council’s business manager, said. “St George’s Day in Salisbury is a great celebration and is a popular event for all ages. This year we have new attractions alongside some traditional favourites.”
