Young man assaulted outside pub

A 19-YEAR-OLD Durrington man suffered serious head injuries when he was assaulted outside a pub on Saturday.
The assault took place outside the Stonehenge Inn at about 11pm and the 19-year-old needed hospital treatment for serious head injuries.
Two local men aged 18 and 19 were arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail pending further inquiries.
DC Dave Ridler of Salisbury CID said: “At the time of the incident there was a private party in the Stonehenge Inn and people using the public bar area and we believe there may be people who witnessed the incident but have not yet come forward.”
